Hugh Turvey is recognised internationally for his x-ray works and as one of the worlds few contemporary x-ray artists. He continues to experiment with the new emerging x-ray technologies to produce his imagery for projects and commission. The work is observationally perceived and is a multi-stage process leading to intense detail capture with some overt unique colouring techniques applied by hand.
Hugh Turvey’s experimental x-ray art is now available at Tenderproduct and includes greeting cards and paper-rock-scissors flipbooks. Yay!

Tenderproduct is pleased to announce a new window exhibition/product display designed by Crispin Jones. The window exhibition features the Tengu Allstars: Rotten, Stardust & Woodstock.
Crispin Jones at Tenderproduct
These funky creatures have rapidly become part of Mr. Jones’ already well-established and original Tengu product line. The Allstars, according to Mr. Jones, ‘wear their love of music with loud and massive hairstyles’, they also come with a selection of complimentary accessory stickers, to compliment their ‘look’. They live by your computer and react to auditory signal (music, your voice, the dog barking, a telephone – whatever sound they can hear around them). The louder the sound, the more frantically their faces animate. Tengu All Stars connect to the USB port of your computer for energy, they are otherwise very self-sufficient not requiring any additional software on the host machine. They are both Mac and PC compatible. Rotten, Stardust and Woodstock will swing into action inside the Tenderproduct Windowspace and passers by will be invited to watch their collective performance, singing, sleeping, and making amusing Tengu facial expressions.
In typical tender-holiday spirit, tenderproduct’s newly curated window celebrates all that is merry. ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas is the brainchild of the creatives behind Bobby Dazzler, Ink Illustration and the always amazing Jill Green.
Sign up for one of the Bobby Dazzler doll making workshops on November 28th at either 1pm or 4pm. For the small sum of 18 BP–less than the price of an original Bobby Dazzler–you can create your very own!
Workshop price includes the cost of materials, the magic beads for your doll, and, of course, most importantly, the expert advice of one of the original Bobby Dazzler Design Duo, the Great and Amazing Rosie! In true festive spirit Tenderpixel and Tenderproduct will provide hard working doll-makers with Christmas snacks and refreshments.
Secure your place in the workshop by registering as space is limited. This event coincides with the Cecil Court Christmas Fair which and there will be numerous festivities all day long in the court. So join the fun and Be-Dazzled!
Hi Failure is an exhibition of new work by Sebastian Craig. The curated window display launches two new design objects available for purchase at tenderproduct: Future Grass and Minimal Object. Originally developed after a dream that Craig experienced some time in 2003, Future Grass is a multi-purpose design object as well as a small patch of green artificial turf. Minimal Object (Decorative Gate) is a miniature electromagnetically-sensitive portable sculpture. It responds to the coincidental generation of what Craig calls an “entry point” (electromagnetic signal) and marks it with suitable austerity—making the invisible, visible via a sequence of flashing light.
Hi Failure also documents Sebastian Craig’s experimental journeys through a range of design disciplines. Craig’s work is generated through auto-didactic trial and error. He has an ongoing interest in the crossover between language and architecture and the ways in which each of these coded mediums can function as the other, a quality he has exploited within the product shop’s window space.
